Non-CDL Driver (Pueblo)

Office: Pueblo
Location: Pueblo, CO

Position Summary

The non-CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for providing customers with reliable and efficient delivery of all ERD products through merchandising and servicing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering and servicing all Eagle Rock Distributing Co. products within assigned accounts
  • Merchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of products
  • Manages rotation and maintains a neat inventory in each account.
  • Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers.
  • Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obey all traffic regulations
  • Checks code dates and handles close-to-code or out-of-code product accordingly to company policy
  • Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at each account, and all related paperwork.

Education and Experience

  • Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to meet company MVR and insurability standards
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to quickly learn product and account characteristics
  • Requires the ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative
  • Ability to deal with problems involving multiple solutions in standardized situations
  • Able to learn and is competent in using technology that includes, but is not limited to: tablets, cell phones, standard office equipment, current operating systems, sales and warehouse management software and email software

Physical Demands and Requirements

  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending/crouching and reaching in front and above the head
  • May require sitting or standing for extended periods
  • Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasionally requires the ability to lift, push or pull items weighing over 70 lbs. (with or without assistance)
  • Must be capable of pushing or pulling loaded carts weighing approximately 300 lbs. (with or without assistance)

Environmental Conditions and Temperament

  • Job duties are performed inside and outside retail buildings and in warehouse/dock environment
  • Experiences exposure to fumes, vibrations and elevated noise levels.
  • Experiences exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while performing the duties.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 per year

(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)
