About the Job:

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on our company vehicles to ensure they stay safe, reliable, and ready to work.

Our fleet includes tractor trailers, light-duty trucks, vans, pickups, etc. This position is ideal for someone with general mechanical knowledge, who takes pride in keeping vehicles in top shape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections, etc.
• Conduct basic repairs on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and drivetrains
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions
• Maintain accurate service records and follow scheduled maintenance plans
• Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Keep the shop clean and organized
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic (or similar role)
• Basic knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines
• Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic tools, and equipment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus, but not required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• ASE Certifications
• Experience working with fleet vehicles
• Welding or fabrication skills
• CDL License
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
